Using Reward Actions

Reward Actions let you choose how a reward behaves once delivered to the customer. Instead of every reward being treated the same, you can now choose one of three action types.
  1. Redeem Rewards: In-person redemptions 
  2. Link Rewards: Link the reward to a page or URL 
  3. Info Rewards: Tie more details and information to a specific reward  

Reward Action Types

Redeem Reward:

Use this when the customer receives something in person



Examples:
    1. Free drink
    2. Member glass
    3. Tasting flight
Customer Experience: The customer taps the reward in your app and redeems in person with staff
Best For: Physical rewards

Use this when the reward should open to another page


Examples:
    1. Event tickets
    2. Private menu
    3. Reservation page
    4. Online store
    5. Exclusive signup form
Customer Experience: The customer taps the reward and is taken directly to the URL you provide
Best For: Online offers and integrations 

Info Reward:

Use this when the reward simply displays information


Examples:
    1. WiFi password
    2. Member instructions
    3. Event details
    4. Pickup directions
    5. VIP access notes
Customer Experience: The reward opens and displays the information without requiring a redemption
Best For: Reference-only content
